Luciana Ruiz learned to row as a freshman in college, where she continued to be involved until her graduation in 2021. In her time at Northwestern Crew, Ruiz won gold at club nationals and was president of the student-run organization in her senior year. Ruiz works as a design researcher, and she is passionate about expanding the sport of rowing to be a more diverse, inclusive place for rowers and coxswains of all backgrounds.

Jake LaPres began rowing during his senior year of high school at Orchard Lake St. Mary's. After a brief hiatus, LaPres joined Northwestern Crew his sophomore year at the university. As an upperclassman, he sat in stroke of the Varsity 8+ and 4+, and he served as the men's captain for his last season, 2019-2020. LaPres looks to pass on his passion and competitive nature to the next generation of athletes.

Jackson started rowing in high school in Boston where he competed for 4 years with Buckingham Browne and Nichols. After transferring to Northwestern, he joined their club team until he graduated in 2022. During senior year, Jackson was the Equipment Chair on the team's student-run executive board and rowed in the Men's Varsity 4+, medaling at state and regional championships. He's excited to share his love for  rowing and to help make the sport more diverse. 

Evan Miller learned to row as a sophomore at the Taft School. Following his high school career, he was recruited to row at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from where he graduated in 2019 and 2020. During his time on the Badger’s rowing team, he served as the team captain for the 2019-2020 season and sat in the 7-seat of the Varsity 8+. Miller works in asset management and is excited to share his love of the sport through coaching.

Alexander Jimenez has been rowing since his freshman year of high school, first competing for Crystal Lake Rowing Club. While continuing rowing at Northwestern University, he served as Men’s Team Captain and was selected to the All-American Third Team his senior year. Alexander is dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive environment for rowers and coxswains to develop as athletes, teammates, and leaders.

Henry Roberts started rowing senior year of high school through Row New Jersey. Less than a month after learning how to row, he was recruited to the University of Wisconsin, where he graduated from in 2020. As an upperclassman, he sat in the stroke of the 2V8+. Roberts is looking forward to sharing his love and passion for the sport of rowing and helping students discover some of life's greatest lessons along the way.
